Deltek Project Nation Conference 2025

TIP Technologies at Deltek ProjectCon 2025: Elevating Manufacturing and Quality by Design

Deltek ProjectCon 2025 is in the books and wrapped with fresh energy and a clear message: the future of project-based business is accelerating - and Deltek is building it. Held November 10–12 in Denver, the conference brought together thousands of project-based professionals for three days of learning, hands-on exploration and meaningful connection. From product roadmaps to real-world success stories, this year’s theme, Elevated by Design, underscored how Deltek is shaping what’s next for connected, intelligent and compliant operations.

Aligned with this year’s theme, the TIP Technologies track showcased how manufacturers can raise the bar for manufacturing and quality. This maturing but fast-growing track once again delivered high-value content that underscored its critical role in Deltek’s manufacturing ecosystem and in shaping the next chapter of digital transformation.

Industry Outlook: Navigating Uncertainty While Preparing for Opportunity

Despite ongoing policy shifts, regulatory changes and macroeconomic headwinds, optimism is returning across manufacturing and the aerospace and defense sector. New defense funding through the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) and investments like the Golden Dome Project are creating fresh opportunities for growth.

To compete in this evolving landscape, manufacturers need solutions that strengthen quality, maintain audit readiness, accelerate decision-making and connect operations across the plant floor. This renewed push for performance is driving more organizations to re-evaluate modern quality and shop floor platforms — setting the stage for TIP Technologies’ strongest ProjectCon showing yet.

Stronger Than Ever: TIP Track Attendance Doubles

This year marked a major milestone for TIP Technologies at ProjectCon as customer attendance doubled compared to last year. The momentum reflects growing interest in purpose-built quality and shop floor solutions as organizations work to modernize operations and strengthen compliance.

The track featured a diverse mix of nine sessions, including Deltek-led content, a customer-led session and a joint partner session - creating a practical, well-rounded learning experience for new and long-time users.

This surge in participation shows how urgently manufacturers are embracing smarter, more connected ways to drive quality forward.

Key Themes From the TIP Technologies Track

ProjectCon as the Best Forum for Expertise and Connection

Across all sessions, one message stood out: ProjectCon remains the primary place to meet product experts, hear directly from product leadership and connect with peers who understand the realities of regulated manufacturing.

The Future of TIP: Roadmap Highlights and the Introduction of Dela

The roadmap session drew strong engagement and highlighted four major areas of investment:

  • User experience enhancements
  • Market-driven capabilities
  • Technology and compliance updates
  • Deeper system integration

A major announcement was the introduction of Dela to the product next year. Dela will enable natural-language document search, provide contextual answers linked to internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies, support secure role-based access and reduce time spent searching for information. Customers responded enthusiastically to the clarity and efficiency Dela will bring to shop floor and quality operations.

Expanded ERP and System Integrations

Integration remains a top priority, with continued progress in Costpoint synergy, ERP-agnostic connectivity and PLM integrations. These enhancements support end-to-end visibility and give manufacturers greater flexibility when connecting TIP Technologies within their digital ecosystem.

Customer-Centric Development Driving Real-World Impact

Customer feedback continues to shape the direction of TIP Technologies. During the roadmap session, a live survey captured real-time input on priorities, reinforcing the strong alignment between customer needs and upcoming enhancements across performance, compliance and workflow refinement.

Practical, Solutions-Oriented Learning

Customers found significant value in the hands-on, solutions-focused content. Sessions were filled with real use cases, practical guidance and tips that support daily work. Engagement was high as attendees shared scenarios and collaborated with experts.

Interactive Product Demos and 1:1s at the XPO

The TIP Technologies kiosk at the XPO was consistently active, giving attendees the chance to speak directly with experts and see demonstrations tailored to their unique workflows. These conversations helped customers validate improvements, address challenges and identify new ways to drive operational progress.

With deeper integrations, improved user experience and upcoming AI capabilities through Dela, we’re ensuring TIP Technologies continues to meet customers where they are today - and where they’re headed next.

How TIP Technologies Fits in the New Project Lifecycle

This year, Deltek introduced the new four-stage Project Lifecycle - Win, Plan, Execute, Analyze - a unified framework designed to help project-based businesses stay connected from pursuit to delivery. While many Deltek solutions span multiple stages, TIP Technologies plays a particularly critical role in two:

Execute: Where Quality and Production Come Together
During project execution, manufacturers must deliver high-quality products on time, within budget and in full compliance. TIPQA and TIPSFE are engineered for this stage. By integrating quality and shop floor processes, teams can reduce rework, maintain audit-ready documentation, streamline workflows and keep production moving with confidence.

Analyze: Turning Data into Continuous Improvement
In the Analyze stage, visibility drives performance. TIP Technologies provides real-time dashboards and industry-specific reports that allow manufacturers to track quality metrics, identify trends early and make decisions backed by data - not guesswork. And next year, we will take this even further with Dela, bringing natural-language insights and contextual guidance directly into the platform as part of the broader Elevated by Design vision.

Looking Ahead

As manufacturing accelerates toward automation, digital integration and next-generation quality management, TIP Technologies continues to grow as a strategic partner. The track demonstrated the platform’s ability to address today’s challenges while preparing manufacturers for tomorrow’s opportunities. With advancements in AI, deeper integration and a strong roadmap, organizations can elevate their operations with confidence.

This journey continues with your guidance. Our customers’ voice is essential to shaping the future of TIP Technologies. We invite you to participate in our ongoing product development efforts through virtual UX Lab, Deltek Idea Portal, focus groups and quarterly town halls. Together, we will drive the innovation and transformation that defines the next era of manufacturing.
