Your Ideas Matter – Introducing Deltek Idea Portals

There are many different ways companies can obtain user feedback and capture what their customers would like to see in a product. Customer feedback not only helps fuel innovation, but is critical for us to ensure we are building product capabilities that help customers deliver on their objectives.

Speaking with customers creates a feedback loop, where product management teams can discover how people feel about a potential feature or validate assumptions about user behavior and market trends. In addition, these discussions help spot unmet needs and identify use cases they had not previously considered. The insights gained from user feedback can help with product improvements, added functionality and the creation of new solutions to address customer challenges.

Deltek is committed to continually improving our software and services by seeking customer insights to build the best products, which is why we are excited to announce the launch of our Deltek Idea Portals.

The interactive Idea Portals are available for the following Deltek products: Ajera, ComputerEase, Costpoint, Maconomy, Project Information Management (PIM), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Specpoint, Talent Management, Vantagepoint / Vision and WorkBook.

Don’t see the Deltek solution you use listed? Don’t worry! We will be creating an Idea Portal for additional products soon. In the meantime, you can continue to share your feedback and ideas with us via the Deltek Support Center using the legacy process.

The Idea Behind the Portals

Research has shown products developed in isolation from their potential buyers often fail when they are delivered to the end user. We rely on customer collaboration and feedback to create better products, and the launch of the Deltek Idea Portals will facilitate an improved process to capture your product ideas all in one easy-to-use place.

This web-based interface allows you to share your ideas directly with our Product Management team, discuss ideas with peers, and vote on other ideas submitted through this online tool. The ability for customers to review and vote on their peer submitted ideas is an important aspect of the Idea Portals and provides a new dimension of customer community that was not available in the legacy submission methods.

Submit Your Ideas

To submit product ideas, your organization’s Authorized Support Contacts (ASCs) will need to access the Deltek Idea Portals from a link within the Deltek Support Center. Within each portal, you will be able to easily share your ideas with Deltek's Product Management and our community of product users, as well as cast your vote and provide your thoughts on ideas submitted by other customers. If you’re not familiar with your designated ASC, please contact your Customer Success Manager for assistance.

With the Deltek Idea Portals You Can:

Add a New Idea: Submit your feedback to help form product ideas to enhance Deltek products

Review Submitted Ideas: Receive status updates on ideas you have entered and easily filter to see what ideas are currently planned for release

Search & Filter by Category: Search for submitted ideas by typing key words into the search box and filter by categories for other Deltek solutions

Interact With Your User Community: Review, comment and vote on ideas that would benefit your organization!
