Get a clearer view of project performance
Project KPIs give project managers a new way to monitor key indicators across their projects.
The new KPIs bring together three measures:
- Timesheet Compliance Index: See how consistently team members submit their timesheets on time.
- Time Billability Index: Understand how much of the time recorded during a period is billable.
- Schedule Performance Index: See the percentage of tasks completed on or before their due dates.
Project managers can also filter the KPIs by time period, making it easier to focus on a specific period and understand how project performance is tracking.
With these indicators in one place, teams can spend less time pulling together information from different reports and more time understanding where attention may be needed.
Give project managers more control over resource allocation
In many smaller professional services organizations, project managers also take on responsibility for managing resources. Previously, giving PMs broader resource management permissions could give them visibility into information beyond the projects they manage.
The latest release introduces more targeted resource management permissions for project managers.
With the new Resource Time and Location permission, PMs can access the Quick Allocation page and controlled resource planning capabilities within their projects. This gives them the access they need to allocate resources while maintaining appropriate visibility and data access controls.
Assign resources across all project tasks
Polaris also expands resource assignment capabilities with support for assigning resources to all project tasks. This brings a capability previously available in Gen. 3 into Polaris, giving teams more flexibility when planning and managing resources across their project work.
Get more from project data with Dela
Dela continues to make project information easier to access and understand.
For customers with Ask Dela enabled, project teams can ask questions and get information such as project progress, hours logged, budget status, task details and resource allocations. Recent improvements also include updated models and improved data display.
