Reflecting on my time at Deltek, I am proud to say that 2023 was a truly remarkable year for our organization. Not only did the Global Partner and Alliances team rise to the occasion and deliver one of our most profitable years yet, but we also reimaged how we power success by executing the strategic initiatives we needed in place to take our partner program to the next level.
We dedicated significant time to understanding our partners’ needs and expectations, a crucial aspect of any partnership. As a result, we received valuable feedback on how much our channel program has grown and matured in the past two years. And we continue to encourage our partners to be transparent about where we can grow and what we can do better. After all, if we are not working together for mutual success, the partnership is bound to fail.
I’m particularly proud of one 2023 accomplishment − the development of our partner enablement program by Jan Jensen and his team. Prior to this program, our partners had to teach themselves how to use our solutions, which was not an effective model for us or them. However, with the addition of this new program, we have positioned our partners for success. While we still have a long way to go, together, we are making progress every day.
As we ease into 2024, I’m excited about the launch of Allego, our new sales enablement platform, and acquiring a new Partner Relationship Management (PRM) tool. Allego will be the solution that allows us to virtualize and scale our partner enablement program. These enhancements will be huge for our partners as we can enable them quicker and get them to market with our solutions faster − which we both want to see! In addition, the new PRM solution will add new features to our Partner Portal, such as push notifications, automation of Marketing Development Funds, a collaboration space, and many others we plan to scale in the channel.
