This year’s Earth Day theme, "Our Power, Our Planet," reinforces the impact that we all can make, calling for global unity in embracing renewable energy and striving for a cleaner, greener future.

Highway Clean Ups & Volunteer Time Off
On Friday, April 18, the Adopt-a-Highway Spring Clean Up occurred near our Headquarters office in Herndon, Virginia. Local employees gathered for the opportunity to give back to the environment by collecting litter and debris on the roadway that Deltek sponsors.
In addition, Deltek’s Copenhagen employees will come together in late-April, along with our New England and Makati employees later this year, to clean up their local office neighborhoods. These are just a few of the scheduled community clean-up events planned throughout the year–emphasizing that environmental consciousness is a year-round commitment and not just limited to Earth Day.
Deltek’s volunteer time off (VTO) program makes these events and others like them possible. Employees can use designated office hours to positively impact organizations they are passionate about. We are proud to provide this VTO opportunity to Deltek’s more than 4,200 employees worldwide and are thrilled that so many of them are volunteering to help make a difference in their local communities.
Green Champion Program
Earlier this year, we launched a Green Champion program for all Deltek employees. Each month, a new theme related to eco-friendly practices is highlighted, encouraging employees to share their efforts in reducing waste, conserving energy, and more. By participating in the Green Champion program, Team Deltek can contribute to a healthier planet and motivate others to join in our green journey.
