Deltek Brand Transformation

Designed for the Future: The Story Behind Deltek’s Brand Transformation

Deltek customers are behind the projects that shape the world — building the infrastructure we rely on, securing critical systems, and driving innovation that changes how we live and work. Supporting that kind of work has always been central to Deltek’s purpose.

As the industries we serve evolve, so do the challenges and opportunities our customers face. That’s why we’ve transformed. Not just our vision and mission but how we talk about who we are and what we deliver.

This transformation touches every part of our brand from the language we use to the way we show up visually. It’s all designed to better reflect the company we’ve become: a strategic partner and intelligent platform built for high-stakes work. More importantly, it’s built to help our customers see themselves in our story — and feel confident that we’re evolving alongside them.

Deltek’s New Visual Identity

Deltek Mark

Our Logo is Intelligence in Motion

Our new Deltek logo embodies the clarity and momentum of the platform. We refreshed our colors and font and refined for modernity. The rounded D symbolizes the continuous project lifecycle we power, while the dot at its origin — the Dela Spark — represents intelligence in motion.

Dela's Mark: Representing AI in Action

The mark for Dela, our AI orchestrator, extends this story. It features the same D as our logo, infused with a four-color gradient that mirrors the lifecycle stages. At the end of the mark, the Dela Spark glows again — visually completing the loop and forming a subtle “ai.”

Delivering Speed. Clarity. Control.

Our new tagline — Speed. Clarity. Control. — is both our brand promise and our design philosophy. It represents the outcomes our customers achieve every day through Deltek: the ability to move fast, operate with precision, and stay in command no matter how complex the project.

Our Brand Defined

A Simplified, Unified Portfolio

To make the “intelligent platform” easier to grasp, we organized our applications into four pragmatic groups: ERP & Project Accounting, Project Management, Business Development, and Project Delivery. Think of these as lenses on the same system rather than boxes on a chart — with ERP intentionally threaded through all four stages of the lifecycle. This simplification makes it easier for customers to see how all of our solutions connect to power the full Win–Plan–Execute–Analyze cycle of project success.

At Our Core: Deltek Native Architecture (DNA)

Every Deltek solution is built on what we call our Deltek Native Architecture (DNA) — our shared foundation of governance, security, and compliance, designed specifically for the industries we serve. It’s what ensures our customers can move fast without ever losing control.By naming it, we gave language to one of Deltek’s most important differentiators — that control isn’t bolted on; it’s built in.

Shaped by Intent

Inspired by a Classic— Simon!

When we re-imagined our platform design, we took inspiration from an unexpected source: the classic electronic game Simon. In Simon, the four colors light up in sequence — a repeating cycle of memory and precision. It's an elegant metaphor for how the Deltek platform operates: a four-part system that only moves when the right signals are given.

And at the center of that control is Dela, our AI-powered orchestrator. Like Simon, Dela ensures that actions only happen when “Dela says” — orchestrating automation with governance built into its DNA.

Aligned to Business Strategy

Each of our four lifecycle stages carries its own color — not just for beauty, but for meaning. Together, they represent cross-functional collaboration and the flow of data, intelligence, and control. They also connect directly to C-suite and board-level outcomes:

  • Win more of the right projects
  • Plan for profit
  • Execute efficiently and in compliance
  • Analyze for continuous growth

Colors with Heritage

Our primary brand colors — Deltek Marine Blue and Deltek Navy Blue — honor our fifth decade of service to the U.S. Federal Government and its contractors. They anchor our palette in trust and heritage while allowing the new accent colors to convey innovation, energy, and motion.

Real Work. Real Impact.

Perhaps the most important design shift isn’t in our typography or color — it’s in what we choose to show. We’re moving away from abstractions and toward real imagery of the people and projects that make our customers extraordinary.

You’ll see construction sites, control centers, engineering labs, and mission rooms because these are the places where our customers’ work truly shapes the world.Deltek is proud to stand behind the people who build, protect, and transform what matters most.

Elevated by Design

Our brand isn’t just a reflection of our business — it’s an extension of it. Every visual choice, every word, every spark reflects a single belief: that when technology serves the people who do consequential work, the result is nothing short of transformative. We call that being elevated by design — and it’s only the beginning.

Speed. Clarity. Control.

The intelligent platform that powers every stage of the project lifecycle
