Standardizing Tools and Processes Worldwide

This program is designed to better position WPP IT to be able to respond to new business, scope changes and meet client demands. Deltek Maconomy, the leading ERP software for professional services firms, was familiar to WPP, as they had been using it for many years, but with Maconomy Core, WPP wanted to drive standard processes across the finance departments along with the shared services into a template that could be used in any country, only with tax, legal or statutory changes.
By transitioning WPP’s China organization onto Maconomy Core, the company now has a standardized template, with a global chart of accounts, greater reporting and end-to-end functionality. The standard template is simpler to roll out and is written with the shared service model, audit, tax and reporting compliancy in mind. WPP IT now has a single system that’s frequently updated with the latest configuration and functionality.
