Ask Dela understands your questions in plain English; no need to remember report names or search parameters. You can ask things like:

  • "Analyze the financials for [project name] and summarize any areas of concern."
  • "What is the AR balance for project 24.009?"
  • "Who are the contacts for [client name]?"
  • "Draft an email to the client requesting payment for overdue invoices."

Dela even supports follow-up questions without losing context, so your conversations flow naturally. Getting started is quick; just navigate to Company > Preferences to enable Ask Dela, assign access by role, and you're ready to go.

Ajera 10.3: Smarter Workflows Across the Board

Beyond Ask Dela, Ajera 10.3 delivered several practical enhancements shaped directly by user feedback:

Ajera 10.2 brought meaningful improvements for project managers and financial teams alike:

  • New KPI Widget: Get an at-a-glance view of your most important firm metrics right on your dashboard — configurable, linkable, and built for faster decision-making without digging through multiple reports.
  • Timesheet APIs: Integrate Ajera with other time entry systems to submit, update, and track timesheets without duplicate data entry, reducing errors and manual work.
  • Vendor Invoice Approval Enhancements: WIP status now updates automatically based on invoice approval, eliminating manual follow-up steps.

Coming Soon: Ajera Time & Expense Mobile App (formerly Deltek Expenses for Ajera)

One of the most exciting announcements heading into the conference is the upcoming Ajera Mobile 4.0 release, which is a major step forward for mobile users.

The existing Deltek Expenses for Ajera mobile app is getting a significant upgrade: timesheet entry and submission are coming to the app, and it's being renamed Ajera Time & Expense to reflect this expanded capability. Expected in late April 2026, this update is a direct response to user feedback requesting a unified mobile experience.

By unifying time and expenses in a single app, users can stay on top of project costs from anywhere, reducing administrative burden, improving accuracy, and accelerating approvals.
