The latest version of Deltek PIM introduces a new viewing technology – now available to all users – that provides a more intuitive way for teams to stay connected to projects from anywhere.
View Documents from Anywhere
Easily view all supported file types (PDF, Microsoft Office, drawings, images) from a desktop or the Deltek PIM mobile app. This allows users to review documents from anywhere without having to download the files locally or own the native software application (e.g., AutoCAD to open .DWG files).
Mark Up Documents from Desktop
Previously, to provide feedback on documents, users had to check out a file from PIM, provide markups and comments, then check the document back into PIM. Now users can simply open a document or drawing from their desktop to provide instant feedback to the entire team – a feature that will be expanded to mobile devices in a future release.
Add and Reply to Comments for Context
Easily create and add replies to comments to continue the dialogue during the review and approval stages. Mark comments as complete to alert teams that specific issues have been resolved.
Create Custom Stamps
With custom stamps, users can quickly select commonly used project milestones or phrases to indicate the status of documents, saving teams time during the review and approval processes.
Identify Documents with Markups
To easily identify which documents in Deltek PIM include markups and comments for review, an icon is displayed next to the document name in the Document Management System (DMS).
