We recently caught up with George Panos, Architectus' CFO, to hear how having effective and efficient systems helps continually drive the company’s profitability.

"My name is George Panos. I'm the Chief Financial Officer for Architectus. We've been working with Deltek for over 10 years and look forward to the next 10 years. We're very excited about Deltek's new solution, Vantagepoint, and the improvements and outcomes that it will deliver for Architectus.
Architectus has been around for about 30 years. We're a design company, in essence, providing architectural services and also urban planning and statutory planning. We've grown quite substantially in the last five years, from 40 people to around 450. The challenges of being at our size and with multiple offices in Australia and New Zealand is to ensure that we collaborate, that we work together, that we work across borders, and that we're fully integrated."
Why Did You Implement Deltek?
"Being at the forefront of technology for Architectus is very important. It's important for our customers. It's important for us and our offering. Architectus selected Deltek in 2008, and the issues that we were facing then were that we were moving from a manual system to a fully automated system."

Why Is Deltek Important To Architectus?
"In the next five years, I expect to see great change in the industry. The effect of artificial intelligence, the effect of algorithms, the modelling, and the digital transformation will lead to quite exciting changes within the industry. The most important thing in my view is fee and the growing complexity and ensuring that we have efficient and effective systems to ensure that we maximise our fees.
