She points to Costpoint’s custom reporting capabilities and more intuitive user experience as key reasons teams can work smarter and move faster at scale. "It has been a game changer for us," she noted, pointing to the platform's custom reporting capabilities — including tailored HR reports for employee retention, government compliance, VETS, and EEO filings — as a key example of how Costpoint supports SURVICE’s operations.

As SURVICE adopted the Costpoint UI, Presser immediately noticed how much easier it became to navigate workflows, retrieve information, and complete everyday tasks. Combined with Dela, Deltek's AI-powered orchestrator, the modern interface reduces the time spent searching through menus or running manual reports, helping teams stay focused on higher-value work.
According to Presser, the combination of the new Costpoint experience and Dela has significantly streamlined how her team accesses information. “Instead of having to go in, search for data, and run reports. I can pose a question to Ask Dela and I can get an answer almost immediately,” Presser said. “That helps me to be able to move the mission quicker.”
With the new UI, built on the Deltek Harmony framework, the SURVICE team can navigate directly to the information they need through simplified workflows and intuitive navigation paths, eliminating unnecessary clicks and reducing time spent drilling through menus. This combination of conversational AI and intuitive navigation reflects Deltek's commitment to making powerful tools genuinely accessible, and help SURVICE move with more speed in their day-to-day operations.
One of the most impactful aspects of the rollout for Presser was Deltek’s customer-centric approach to building the new experience. Prior to launch, she participated in hands-on usability sessions with Deltek product teams, providing direct feedback on navigation, workflows, and day-to-day usability improvements. Presser believes that collaboration helped ensure the new Costpoint experience was designed around how customers actually work, making the transition smoother and helping users feel more confident adopting the new interface. “The transition was seamless for us. We embraced the change early, and it helped our teams become more efficient faster.”
