Bob Hughes

Bob Hughes, Deltek’s President and CEO, leads a global team of over 4,000 people toward the company’s mission of delivering the most complete industry-specific solutions to project-based businesses. Bob joined the company in April 2024.

Before Deltek, Bob was the Chief Customer and Strategy Officer at UKG, focused on developing and executing the company's strategic growth plan, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, and global expansion to benefit customers worldwide. Prior to that, he led the global services organization at Kronos and spent several years leading M&A teams at Blackbaud and Merrill Lynch.

Bob served as a U.S. Navy submarine officer and is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is currently on the board of directors at Higher Logic and the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC).
