The GSA Gets Closer to Launching an e-Marketplace

Deltek Senior Principal Research Analyst Angie Petty has reported that the General Services Administration (GSA) has recently submitted an implementation plan to Congress to establish a federal e-commerce portal. This marketplace would create a way to procure commercial products through online portals to enhance competition, speed up procurement, and ensure reasonable pricing.
