Congratulations to Deltek's Stuart Watts & The Four Oarsmen!
Talk about one for the record books! Deltek's own Stuart Watts from the U.K., and his friends who make up The Four Oarsmen won the Talisker Whisky Challenge – a race of 3,000 nautical miles rowing across the Atlantic Ocean from La Gomera in Spain’s Canary Islands to English Harbor, Antigua, in the West Indies. Finishing in 29 days, 15 hours, the group smashed the previous world record becoming the first team to cross the Atlantic in under 30 days.
Deltek is committed to our employees, our customers and our communities around the world, and we are proud to be a sponsor of the Four Oarsmen. Their cross-Atlantic efforts have raised funds to benefit MIND, a U.K. nonprofit that advises and supports those experiencing mental illness, and Spinal Research, the U.K.’s leading charity funding medical research to develop effective treatments for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury.
