Deltek Costpoint for Developers
Overview
Deltek Costpoint API—that is implemented using SOAP/XML, REST/XML, and REST/JSON—offers sophisticated integration capabilities. It allows you to integrate Costpoint with other applications used in your environment by giving you the ability to:
- Invoke Costpoint reports and processes (long-running actions) from third party applications
- Import and export Costpoint data to and from third-party applications
In addition, an extensibility framework, which is a separate feature available with Costpoint, allows you to customize Costpoint applications and to make calls from Costpoint to third-party applications. Together, Costpoint's integration capabilities and extensibility framework allow you to create two-way integrations with third-party applications.
Ready to Get Started?
You can get started quickly with your integration by using the Costpoint Integration Console. From the console, you can create your first set of integration methods and group them into modules for testing, deployment and execution. For more information, refer to the Integration Console document in the Costpoint Information Center applicable to your environment.
