Deltek Pulse: Justice and public safety month in review, February 2017
In February, in the Justice and Public Safety market, California released the most number of bids, and Montana released the least. The top primary requirements for these solicitations were Architecture, Engineering and Construction; Land Vehicles and Equipment; Professional Services; and Operations and Maintenance. Justice/Public Safety and Homeland Security was a primary requirement associated with 39% of the solicitations released in February, while Transportation was a primary requirement associated with 61%.
Notable Solicitation Releases
- The City and County of San Francisco (City) Adult Probation Department has a requirement for a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Community Corrections/Probation (CCP) Case Management System (CMS). Proposals are due on March 30, 2017 and the City expects to make an award in May.
- The New Jersey Department of Treasury, on behalf of State Law Enforcement Agencies, issued a request for proposals (RFP) to re-bid the contract for Law Enforcement Firearms Equipment and Supplies. Proposals are due March 9, 2017.
- The Ohio Department of Administrative Services released an RFP for a vendor to provide an Emergency Services IP Network and Next Generation 9-1-1 Services. Proposals are due April 17, with an award expected in December 2017.
