The month of February saw the largest number of solicitations released since May 2016, with 12% more solicitations were released compared to January 2017. The Primary/Secondary Education vertical is producing 54% of the bids released, while Higher Education is producing 46%. Professional Services was a primary requirement associated with 62% of the solicitations released in February, while Information Technology was a primary requirement associated with 38%. In February, Texas took the lead again as it did in January, releasing the most solicitations, with South Dakota and Nebraska releasing the fewest number of bids.

Notable Solicitation Releases

  • The Vermont Department of Buildings and General Services, Office of Purchasing and Contracting, on behalf of the Vermont Agency of Education has a requirement for a Grants Management System. Proposals are due on March 10, 2017.
  • The Los Angeles Unified School District issued a request for proposals (RFP) for College Access Planning and Reporting. Proposals are due on March 2, 2017.
  • The New Jersey Department of the Treasury, on behalf of the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE), has a requirement for a Science Assessment Program (SAP). Proposals are due on June 20, 2017.
