iOS Push Notifications
Push notifications are now available on Apple iOS devices. If the WorkBook app is closed and a message is received, a notification from the sender and the first lines of the message are shown as a native notification on their mobile device. When the notification is clicked it will open the WorkBook app and load the corresponding conversation.
These push notifications improve the user experience for iOS users which can help improve user engagement and adoption of the WorkBook system from anywhere.
Whereabouts in Resources
Previously, the Whereabouts icon was not visible when searching Employees in the Resources area of the app. Now, users will be able to see a green Whereabout status icon when an employee is online and available at the current moment in time. This simple enhancement makes it easier for users who need an immediate response to call, send an email, or start a conversation in the app with another user who is available to answer quickly.
