While we adapted to our new normal and modified work arrangements quickly, we still wanted to ensure we were able to deliver helpful learning and training opportunities to fit your firm’s adjusting needs. That’s why we virtualized the popular Deltek Consulting Workshops to bring you the best of our consulting expertise in the comfort of your remote working space.

We’re excited to announce that we are bringing back the popular Virtual Consulting Workshop series for Ajera users in 2021. Whether you’re an avid Ajera user or a new customer who’s just getting started, Deltek has virtual training workshops to help you get more from your solution. Principals, project managers and accounting teams can all benefit from attending these half-day, virtual “hands-on” workshops that integrate industry best practices with key processes for fully leveraging your Ajera software.

Each workshop will include training, discussions and live lab environments. After the class, you will have many great takeaways to implement at your firm immediately including dashboards, widgets and a user guide! Here’s the current lineup of workshops and dates so that you and your team can plan accordingly.

Ajera Accounting Reconciliation and Key Performance Indicator Setup and Tracking

Let our accounting based consulting team show you how Ajera provides better insight into your firm’s performance: designing the setup and understanding Key Performance Indictors (KPIs); this year includes a practical application for calculation of these metrics. This course is great for long-time and advanced Ajera users; new Ajera users will also find this course informative and are recommended to take Part 1 in advance of Part 2. 

Virtual Dates (Subject to change): Session 1 – May 11 and May 13; Session 2 – July 20 and July 22; Session 3 - November 16 and November 18

Ajera Accounting, Workflow and Tips & Tricks Workshops (2-part, half-day sessions)

This workshop we will focus on gaining a full understanding of accounting concepts used in Ajera.  We review practical workflow and recommendations for gaining better insight into your firm’s performance and tips / tricks for reconciliation.  We have also added new in 2020 training on new Ajera features directed to the Accounting team and real life recommendations for application. This course is great for new users to understand the ins and outs of Ajera as well as long-time Ajera users.  

Virtual Dates (Subject to change): Session 1 – July 13 and July 15; Session 2 – October 26 and October 28

Ajera Project Reporting Workshops (2-part, half-day sessions)

Let our project consulting team show you how Ajera provides for effective collaboration between Ajera reporting and your Project Management Team. This Workshop includes two custom project reports (valued at $500 each) from Deltek Ajera’s custom report library and takes a deeper dive into Project reporting in Ajera to supplement the Project Management Workshop. We recommend including a Project Management champion(s) and an Ajera administrator for the most effective training and adoption of these best practices.

Virtual Dates (Subject to change): Session 1 – July 27 and July 29; Session 2 – October 12 and October 14

Ajera Financial Reporting Workshops (2-part, half-day sessions)

Let our accounting based consulting team show you how Ajera provides for effective collaboration between Ajera reporting and your Financial & Management teams. This workshop includes two custom financial reports (valued at $500 each) from Deltek Ajera’s custom report library. Additional training in the Custom Financial Statement Designer and hands on Dashboard/Widget Training to supplement the Financial Workshop Part 1 & Part 2.

Virtual Dates (Subject to change): Session 1 – May 18 and May 20; Session 2 – October 19 and October 21

Ajera Project Management Workshops (4-part, half-day sessions)

Let our project consulting team show you how Ajera provides for effective collaboration between your accounting and project management teams. In this workshop we will cover all the tools necessary to execute projects successfully and to collaborate effectively with your accounting staff. We recommend including a Project Management champion(s) and an Ajera administrator for the most effective training and adoption of these best practices. This workshop has been updated in 2021 with additional topics including; Deltek Clarity Reporting and Project Management Implementation Guide for returning to your office to train and implement Project Management.

Virtual Dates (Subject to change): Session 1 – June 15, June 17, June 22 and June 24; Session 2 – August 17, August 19, August 24 and August 26; Session 3 – December 7, December 9, December 14 and December 16
