Ask Dela: Instant Answers, No Hassle

Now available for Ajera is Ask Dela, Deltek’s AI-powered digital assistant. With natural language processing capabilities, Ask Dela lets you find project, client, and employee data just by asking. No more digging through menus or memorizing report names. Just type your question and get what you need—fast. (Note: this feature is available for cloud customers only.)

Automated Bank Reconciliation Enhancements

For customers using the automated bank feed feature, bank entry creation and automation is now automatic for items such as service charges, interest and NSF charges. This means fewer manual entries, fewer errors, and more time for actual work.

Merge Duplicate Records in Seconds

Duplicate clients? Clean them up with Ajera’s new merge tool. Your data stays accurate, while your team stays sane.

Enhanced Timesheet Tracking

The latest release makes labor compliance easier by capturing daily start/end times, locations, and break details. If you need to meet regional requirements, this update has your back with new timesheet daily details.

User-Requested Enhancements

From applying finance charges to overdue invoices to managing cookie preferences for in-app tracking, the latest release delivers on the tweaks users have asked for, making the whole experience smoother.

  • Ajera Payments Improvements (Bill & Pay Integration): Finance charges on overdue invoices are now automatically synced, including historical finance charges. This streamlines accounts receivables and ensures accurate financial data across platforms.
  • Cookie Management: Manage your cookie preferences for in-app tracking with a new opt-out interface. You’ll be prompted to accept or opt out of cookies with each release.
  • Dashboard Enhancements: Update project or phase directly from a Manage Project task widget on your dashboard, making it easier for project managers to take action without leaving their workspace.
  • Vendor Invoice Approvals: When viewing vendor invoices awaiting your approval on a dashboard, you now have a direct link to open the invoice in Vendor Invoice Approvals to approve from there. This helps save you time and reduces bottlenecks in your payment process.
  • Invoice Color Coding Addition: The color coding on client invoices has been enhanced to now include orange, highlighting that the contract is both over budget and is missing billing, helping you prioritize action and avoid costly oversights. This is in addition to the existing colors of red (over budget) and yellow (missing billing).
  • Vendor Change on Invoices: You can now change the vendor on unpaid and unbilled vendor invoices, giving you more flexibility and control over your financial records.
