Deltek has been conducting this comprehensive study for fourteen years, and the results feed our annual Government Contracting Clarity Industry Report. The Clarity report helps government contractors benchmark their performance and optimize their strategic plans for greater success in the year ahead.

What is the Government Contracting Clarity Survey?

Deltek’s annual Clarity survey is a set of questions used to feed the Deltek Clarity Report, which includes analysis of the contracting market and a benchmark of high-performers ranging from small businesses all the way to enterprise-size organizations. The questions asked in the survey are related to government contractors’ experiences in key functions like business development, project & risk management, finance & financial compliance, contract management, procurement, human capital management, IT & cybersecurity.

The survey also contains questions on how companies conduct their government contracting business–addressing day-to-day business needs and functions, measuring performance, identifying tools and resources, and overcoming challenges and compliance hurdles. By bringing together the insights of hundreds of government contracting professionals , from a wide range of disciplines and organization sizes, the survey helps shine a light on industry market trends, high performance in our industry and insightful benchmarks.

Once compiled, the survey results are published in the Deltek Clarity Report that leaders in government contracting use to help make better-informed decisions about optimizing their business and processes.
