- Protect Americans from AI-enabled fraud and deception by establishing standards and best practices for detecting AI-generated content and authenticating official content.
- Establish an advanced cybersecurity program to develop AI tools to find and fix vulnerabilities in critical software.
- Order the development of a National Security Memorandum that directs further actions on AI and security.
AI Data Risks
Any tool processing large amounts of data needs to be monitored and given proper oversight to ensure data is not in the hands of those who should not have access. This is especially important for SLED or federal government agencies, as they often deal with large sets of sometimes personal data related to their citizens. AI systems processing this data must be developed and used in ways that align with ethical principles and do not result in harm or discriminatory outcomes.
