About Me

Gilles (Gill) Letourneau, the architect and technical founder of InterSpec (e-SPECS), has been shaping the architecture field since the 1990’s. As a professor at California Polytechnic University, he pioneered BIM-integrated 3D CAD systems and Information Modeling. These innovations laid the groundwork for e-SPECS, the first CAD-to-specification integrated system, launched in 1998. Later, Gill led a team to create Specpoint—a cloud-based solution that revolutionized integrated specification development. Today, Specpoint stands as Deltek’s premier product for architects and engineers. Letourneau Consulting emerged to guide firms across North America through this technology and process transition.
