Replicon’s Latest Release in Reporting and Labor Compliance

In our latest release, we are excited to introduce new, powerful capabilities – from flexible reporting capabilities, time off validation rules, break enforcement validation rules to expanded global pay rules coverage – all designed to drive greater efficiency, accuracy and usability across your business. Let’s explore what we have in store for Replicon this quarter:

Extended Pay Rules Coverage for Quebec, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan

We now offer built-in configurability for complex pay rules in Quebec, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, strengthening our pay rules coverage across 145+ jurisdictions in 75+ countries.

  • For Quebec, we support holiday hours and annual leave hours being considered as a part of the weekly overtime calculation.
  • For Manitoba, the holiday hours should be considered as a part of the weekly overtime calculation.
  • For Saskatchewan, the holiday hours should be considered as a part of the weekly overtime calculation. However, hours worked on the holiday do not count towards the weekly overtime.

With these updates, you can better manage a global labor workforce, reduce manual effort, and protect your organization from regulatory and non-compliance risks.

Updates to Lithuania and Colombia Pay Rules

We have updated pay rules for Lithuania and Colombia to align with the latest regulatory changes:

  • In Lithuania, any working day that falls immediately before a public (bank) holiday must now be shortened by one hour, while employees continue to be paid for the full day. Additionally, to comply with the latest regulation, hours worked on a public holiday will be paid at 2X the regular rate for the first 8 scheduled hours, and at 2.5X for any additional hours worked on that day.
  • In  Colombia, the standard workweek has been officially reduced from 46 to 44 hours, effective July 15, 2025. Our updated pay rule reflects this change and ensures that your organization remains compliant.

Simplified Rest Break Compliance

California requires non-exempt employees to take a 10-minute paid break every 4 hours. Our latest update makes it easier to track rest breaks directly in time entries, daily, or timesheet fields—no extra clock-in/out needed. To enable this, you need to add a daily/timesheet field to the timesheet template, define the field name and the input (e.g., ‘Rest Break Taken?’), and when selected, the system will trigger a rest break validation, and a rest penalty needs to be paid.

Simplified Rest Break Compliance

Seamlessly Enforce Multiple Breaks

In some countries like Japan and Germany, employees are required to take rest breaks based on shift hours—e.g., 45 minutes break for shifts over 6 hours, and 60 minutes break for shifts over 8 hours. With our new Configurable Multiple Breaks validation rule, you can support up to 4 rest breaks, easily complying with region-specific labor laws. In case there is a violation, users will see one error message at a time.

Seamlessly Enforce Multiple Breaks

Support Maternity Leave Requirements in Europe and UK

Many countries in Europe and the UK mandate maternity leave around the due date—for example, 4 weeks before and 6 weeks after in the Netherlands. Our new Time Off Validation Rule lets you align with the unique leave compliance requirements. You can easily define the pre- and post-birth period and ensure compliance with local maternity leave regulations.

Latest Updates to Our Out-of-the-Box Timesheet Validations

We have made some updates to our out-of-the-box timesheet validation rules to help improve accuracy:

  • Overlapping Entries Check: Shows a validation message if a punch overlaps with approved time off.
  • Project Time Entry Validation: Ensures time can only be entered against tasks that are configured to allow it.

These rules help prevent time entry errors and enforce proper policies with minimal setup.

Easier Meal Break Waivers on Mobile

Our latest feature simplifies meal break waivers as users are prompted as soon as a break penalty is assessed. This update also includes UI enhancements on iOS to better support longer, custom waiver messages. This feature is now available on iOS, Android and CloudClock.

Introducing Our Upgraded Report Filters

We have upgraded our existing report filters to improve usability and performance – especially when working with large datasets. We have also added a ‘Search’ option in these filters to help you quickly find what you need. In groups filter, leverage our new ‘Include Sub...’ option to automatically select all children with a single click.

Upgraded Report Filters

A New Filter in Time Off Transaction Report

We have introduced a new ‘Event Type’ filter to the Time Off Transaction Report, making it easier to track balance-related transactions. With this filter, you can quickly view transactions related to accruals, resets, time off in lieu, and more.

Limit Report Sharing to Organizational/Internal Emails Only

With this feature, Replicon system administrators can now enhance data security and privacy by restricting users from sharing reports to external email addresses. To enable this, you can simply disable the ‘Send Reports to Custom Email Address’ setting under Report User Permissions. This ensures sensitive organizational data stays within your domain.

Limit Report Sharing to Internal Emails

Easily Share Reports Across Regions and Sub-locations

You can now include sub-locations when sharing region-specific reports — ideal for organizations managing data by country and region. For example, when sharing a report for ‘Asia’, simply enable the “Include Sub-location” option to automatically give access to users in sub-regions like Japan. If this option isn’t selected, users tied to sub-locations (e.g., Japan) won’t be able to view the report, even if the parent region (e.g., Asia) is selected. This update simplifies reporting and removes the need for manual selection across location hierarchies.
