We are beyond excited to unveil a host of new features and enhancements across the ProPricer product suite. Our fourth-quarter updates are designed to take your pricing projects to the next level by boosting accuracy, streamlining workflows and enhancing your overall experience. As always, our releases are timed to allow you to upgrade our entire product suite simultaneously to maintain compatibility amongst your installed products and improve collaboration with your government customers.

ProPricer Contractor and Government Editions v9.5.105.0

The flagship ProPricer products have several major enhancements that our user base has long requested. In addition to our typical performance optimization and usability enhancements, the following features have been added in this release:

  • Recycle Bin – Maintaining your ProPricer environment can take a lot of administration, especially when tracking what belongs and what can be removed from your navigation pane. That doesn't always mean you intend to permanently delete everything when you highlight and click the delete key. Until now, you had to be sure you had archives of your proposal and global rate tables if you deleted them. This release adds the Recycle Bin on the Miscellaneous tab of the ribbon. You'll be able to set permissions for who can restore items, how often they are automatically deleted and see a list of all items deleted to see what can be restored.
  • Deltek Open Plan Integration – On the External Data tab of the ribbon you’ll now see options to Import and Export to Deltek Open Plan for advanced resource scheduling capabilities. Like the MS Project export, you'll map fields when sending data out to Open Plan and map them to ProPricer when bringing data in. This functionality requires login access to your Open Plan environment, so check with your administrators if you need this functionality.
  • Daily Pricing - Whether your contract starts mid-month or spans irregular periods, Daily Pricing allows you to set start and end dates for tasks and resource spreads at the daily level. Direct Rates can now also be input at the daily level to give you more granularity in escalating your rates. This is huge for our contractors doing services work—estimating has never been more precise.
  • Direct Rate Overrides at the Resource Level – In the past you’ve been limited to changing direct rates for your resources at the proposal level (or having to use Rate Bands to make the update at the line-item level). With this release, you can now set the direct rates per resource input level, making it easier to fine-tune estimates, especially in services contracts where estimates need to be updated per entry.
  • Implicit Resource Field Values – Some customers have value lists for their resource fields spanning thousands. This makes it hard to type in values or search for them when the list is large; there’s also a performance hit. This feature allows you to save all existing values in the back end of the database but prevents the loading of thousands of values when you're simply trying to input text on your resource inputs.
  • Leave Feedback – At the top right of the workspace, there is a new Leave Feedback button that takes you directly to the Ideas Portal and allows you to submit feedback to the product management team. We do everything we can to implement features based on your feedback, and this makes it easier for you to tell us where we need to devote our efforts.

BOE Pro v3.5.105.0

As BOE Pro finds its home among our enterprise user base, we've had the opportunity to incorporate updates that cut down on your button clicks to get you the information you need faster and more directly. We've also made it easier for you to add new data to your environment. Enhancements include:

  • Resource Descriptions in the Estimates View—The pop-up for resources in the Estimates view now includes the Resource Description, making it easier to make more informed decisions about which value to select when adding hours, units and costs.
  • Resource Field Mapping Data Integrity - Resource Field Mapping allows you to set pre-defined lists of values that correspond to other entries you make in your estimates, effectively filtering that list to allow the selection only of meaningful values. This feature matches the sort and configuration in ProPricer CE to make bulk importing and synchronization between both applications more accurate.
  • Non-RAM Workflow Assignment – When creating a new PBS element, you can now assign workflow users to the summary field element without returning to the RAM view to assign appropriate parties. This saves on the back and forth between Estimates and RAM views to keep your focus on the work in front of you.
  • Adding Tasks/PBS Elements within BOEs – Another time-saving feature is adding new tasks or proposal breakdown elements directly from the BOEs. Instead of navigating up a level out of your BOE view to add those elements, you can now add them directly from your BOE templates on the fly.
  • Bulk Import Improvements – The layout for discrete and spread resource inputs has been simplified to allow you to import both from the same screen so you don't have to separate the imports from engineering or SME team members for separate imports.

Cost Volume Pro 3.5.105.0

Cost Volume Pro development has hit its stride, and we have several high-impact features releasing, including:

  • Cost Volume Workflow – The Properties window has been updated to include Workflow Steps for each section of your cost volume. This feature gives you overall tracking ability for each section with digital sign-off, steps that each section must go through, an auditability log and email notifications when work is assigned to you.
  • Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RAM) for Sections – Workflow admins can now assign roles at the section level, allowing you to track the status and sign-off for each portion of your cost volume submission package. This capability also lets you limit the view of specific sections so users only see what they need to, streamlining the usability and administration of your cost volumes.
  • External Document Printing – Users can now add, remove and modify printing options for external documents directly within the section view, making it easier to control how the documents are processed when creating your cost volume.
  • Logout Updates – When users log out of Cost Volume Pro, they are now automatically taken back to the login screen instead of being denied access to the page they were on. The not only improves session security, but also simplifies the user experience to allow quick login when returning to your session.

Integration Pro 4.5.105.0

Integration Pro gets a huge new upgrade with the introduction of SAP Material Library data as part of your synchronization process. You can now bring in Assemblies, Parts, POs, Quotes and Vendors from your SAP environment to populate the material libraries in ProPricer. With Integration Pro, you set the mapping between applications up once and set the task scheduler to run when needed. You can also manually run the process to create a single source of truth at any time. This addition expands our capabilities to connect ProPricer with Deltek Costpoint, Oracle, SAP, PostgreSQL, Excel files and more.
