EKJ Consulting Engineers Selects Deltek Maconomy ERP to Transform Financial Operations and Drive Business Growth

EKJ Consulting is a leading Danish engineering consultancy with specialisms across construction, technology, and the environment. In 2022, Mathias Muff was appointed as CFO with a mandate to streamline and modernize EKJ’s financial operations and project management processes. This was at a time when EKJ was struggling to recover from a financially challenging 2021.

After an internal review, several issues were identified which had caused the challenges:

• The company had poor cash flow due to a high volume of overdue invoices
• Many of the company’s projects were very complex which made cost planning and control difficult

To overcome these issues, EKJ considered upgrading their existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) software by simply investing in an add-on which they hoped would lead to a more cohesive system.
