What's New in WorkBook 13

WorkBook 13 makes the agency management experience simpler and more intuitive. With enhancements that support an efficient user experience, including the option to leverage standard North American terminology, and new features that allow customers to fine-tune revenue forecasting, WorkBook 13 illustrates our commitment to continually improving WorkBook’s usability to suit the market’s industry-specific, and geographically specific needs.

Highlights:

New North American Standard Language

For our North American customers, WorkBook 13 offers the option to populate your system with standard agency terminology that reflects the lexicon used most often by the market in that location. This supports easier employee training and promotes greater user adoption agency-wide, which helps maximize the value of your Deltek solution and ensures your get the most accurate operational data and insights possible.

For example, some of the most notable terminology changes include the translation from Debtor to Billing client, Creditor to Vendor, Projects to Campaigns, and Jobs to Projects (as seen below).

User Interface and User Experience Enhancements

In addition to the sleek new look of your workspace, you’ll notice that we’ve made some usability enhancements to the Inbox and Conversations. Now you can hyperlink websites in conversations to make references simpler. This version also makes Conversations easier to understand by auto populating a list of names when adding an @callout and allows Admin users to remove or hide outdated historical comments that might be causing confusion.

Enhanced Revenue Forecasting

For customers using WorkBook’s Finance module, this version now gives you greater flexibility to get exactly the financial data you need by choosing to run revenue forecasts at either the net or gross level.
