Review of MasterSpec Q2 2022 Update

The Deltek team is pleased to announce the MasterSpec Q2 2022 update is available for download and installation.

What’s in the MasterSpec Q2 2022 Update?

The MasterSpec Q2 2022 update contains 73 Sections, 14 of which have received full technical updates (Divisions 22-23, 26, and 32), with the remainder undergoing selective revisions to technical content.

Section-specific sustainability language has been updated for all LEED v4.1 BD+C and ID+C rating systems throughout Division 07 and 08 along with selective removal of retired LEED 2009 language.

New to MasterSpec as of Q2

• 018113.71 Sustainable Design Requirements: CALGreen Non-Residential Mandatory. Section specifies certain general requirements and administrative procedures related to planning and design, energy efficiency, water efficiency and conservation, material conservation and resource efficiency, and environmental quality.

The following MasterSpec Sections in Division 10 have received a selective technical update for compliance with new technical standards ISO 4586 and ISO 4586-3:

• 102219 Demountable Partitions
• 105123 Plastic-Laminate-Clad Lockers
• 105626 Mobile Storage Shelving

Discontinued as of Q2

• 113200 Unit Kitchens has been removed from the MasterSpec library in its entirety.

In addition to technical content updates, all Sections in this release have received nontechnical content revisions for improved functionality and editing capability in Specpoint.

Visit the User Resources section of our website to find MasterSpec Supporting Documents, Tables of Contents, and Standards Organizations. MasterSpec subscribers can also access the Q2 2022 Update via Specpoint. We encourage you to take advantage of the updates offered in this release.

For SpecBuilder Cloud customers, the MasterSpec Q2 2022 Update is available for cloud access through SpecBuilder Cloud and for download from the Updates & Downloads section of the Deltek website.
