Deltek Idea Portal: A New Way to Provide Product Feedback

Coming in Q2 2022, Deltek will launch the new Idea Portals, a customer-centric online tool where you can share your ideas directly with the PIM product team, discuss ideas with your peers and vote on other ideas. The Idea Portal will give you, our valued customers, a platform to help facilitate the direction of Deltek PIM to power your project-based business. What’s New in Deltek PIM?

The product team provided details about the features included in the latest release. The new Universal Document Control (UDC) feature now connects to OneDrive, as well as shared network folders, allowing teams to find and access all project documents from one location. The team provided a demonstration of the new document export/removal tool, making it easier to share information with third parties and to better support corporate retention policies, decreasing corporate risk. The team also highlighted the new modern interface that has been applied to all areas of the system and the new reports and charts available to administrators to monitor the internal usage of Deltek PIM.  Watch this webinar to learn more.

Customer Care Update

James Noble, manager of customer care, reviewed the support lifecycle of Deltek PIM and what it means for businesses hosting the solution on their own servers. He also highlighted reasons to upgrade to the latest release that go beyond the latest features ensuring maximum support, security compliance and more. To upgrade to the latest version, you can either enlist Customer Care to perform the upgrade or you can use the self-upgrade tool.
