Earth Day 2022: How Our Employees Are Investing In Planet Earth

Earth Day is a worldwide event celebrated annually on April 22, to honor the achievements of the environmental movement and raise awareness of the importance of long-term ecological sustainability. While Earth Day is just one day out of the year, for many Deltek employees, it represents a lifetime commitment to leaving the world better than they found it.

At Deltek, we recognize and value what it means to be sustainable, so much that we’ve made it part of our company culture. Every day, our employees participate in environmental best practices to keep their communities green – including helping with waste management, using recyclable products and replenishing the environment. We take pride in knowing that Team Deltek members around the world are actively working to leave their communities cleaner, safer and more beautiful for generations to come.

To drive more awareness of this year's theme of Invest in Our Planet, we asked employees to share what they had planned in support of Earth Day. Here is what they had to say:

"This year for Earth Day I'm going to help with cleanup at my local state park. I'll also be planting more native plants in my yard once the weather breaks!"
