Toys for Tots – Columbus, IN

"One of the many great benefits Deltek offers to their employees is a day off dedicated to volunteering and giving back to your community − something I am very passionate about. So this year I decided to use my day off and help out with our local Toys for Tots campaign, where we shopped and purchased gifts for children in our community."

Rio Lagartos Nature Preserve – El Cuyo, Mexico

"As someone who is dedicated to helping the environment, I’m proud to have used my VTO hours to clean-up the Rio Lagartos Nature Preserve in El Cuyo. This small remote fishing village is on the coast of Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, and where I also live part time. Due to its location, El Cuyo gets the brunt of plastic trash that strong currents and wind bring. The plastic debris is everywhere, including the areas where turtles nest and flamingos breed. Clean-up here is a grass-roots activity, organized by residents to do our little part by removing plastic containers, fishing wire, nets, rope, shoes and a myriad of trash bags from the beach."

Fox Federation Cycling Club – London, England

"This year I used my VTO hours to participate in the Fox Federation Cycling Club, a sponsored ride from London to Lands End. I rode with a group of fellow parents and teachers, to raise money to help benefit underprivileged children in London, to ensure they can participate in extra-curricular activities. Deltek’s volunteer time off is an important dimension of our ESG commitment and allows employees to have a positive impact on the communities where they work."

International Coastal Cleanup – Singer Island, FL

"As part of Deltek’s Well-Living group in the state of Florida, I used VTO hours to participate in a cleanup event at the beach just steps from my house. As Floridians, we know how precious and beautiful our beaches are, and that it is our role to preserve them. It was a wonderful experience to assist in the International Coastal Cleanup effort with Team Deltek members Olya Volpe, Michael Greenman, Kayleen Durell, Rachael Hallmark, Bryan Martinez, Komarbonn Holl and Matt Cass, and give back to our community by keeping our beaches, waterways and ocean trash free!"

FEED, Inc. – Laguna, Philippines 

"My undergrad degree is in Forestry and forest field work has always been close to my heart. I discovered the Fostering Education & Environment for Development (FEED), Inc. this past year, and I am excited to participate in upcoming tree planting activities in the Sierra Madre mountain range, that will help slow down future typhoons in Luzon. I’m thankful to Deltek’s VTO not only for providing me the time off but also as a reminder be of service to my community.”

Special Olympics – Stockholm, Sweden

"Over the years I’ve enjoyed coaching my daughter’s youth basketball team for children with intellectual and physical disabilities. When I was asked to coach their team at the Special Olympics in Sweden this Summer, I used Deltek’s volunteer time off as a chance to give back to our community. I really appreciated that I could replace that day of PTO with a day of VTO and spend it with these amazing players. Following the games, I was selected to coach the Swedish National Women’s Team in the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Berlin in 2023−until next  year’s adventure!"

Wiregrass Food Bank – Dothan, AL

"I recently used my Deltek VTO hours to work at the "Stuff the Semi" donation day organized by the Wiregrass Food Bank. I've volunteered at the food bank several times over the years and have donated turkeys and canned goods, especially around the holidays to benefit those in need. The Wiregrass Food Bank serves 6 counties in southeast Alabama year round and is an organization that I’m proud to support."

March of Dimes – Washington, D.C.

"March of Dimes is an organization near and dear to my heart. As an ambassador, I work to fight for healthy moms and strong babies everywhere. I recently used my Deltek VTO hours to speak at the organization’s Signature Chefs event in Washington D.C. where I shared with the 600+ guests the story of our daughter's prematurity, and the work and support that March of Dimes provides. The event raised nearly $620,000!"

Impact Together – San Luis Antipolo, Philippines

"In September, I volunteered with Impact Together to help benefit the Dumpsite Day Care Center located in San Luis Antipolo, a small village in the Philippines. Our group cleaned the classroom and painted the walls; we also assisted parents and students who came to the classroom by giving them school supplies. They were so thankful for us giving back to their community−and I am so appreciative of the time Deltek gives its employees to spend with organizations that they are passionate about!"
