Based in Warrington, Britplas is a leading UK contractor specialising in commercial glazing with a product portfolio that includes windows, curtain walling, door systems and security fencing.

Operating across the UK and internationally, the firm works with main contractors, architects and clients to design, install and manufacture glazing systems, including specialist proprietary products and systems. The firm has developed a reputation for innovation, with a particular focus on the healthcare and mental health sectors, where their multi-award winning Safevent window is an established market leader.

Following a period of strong growth, the firm recognised that the volume of data and level of collaboration that was required in a rapidly expanding business necessitated a review of their existing information infrastructure. “The amount of information now required to review and complete a project is substantial and has been increasing year on year” says John Blackwell, Managing Director at Britplas. “We needed a system that can cope with the demands of our business both now and in the future.
