Streamlining & Simplifying 

As a long-time Deltek customer, Analysys Mason had come to know the powerful, intuitive solution that Vantagepoint represents. Transitioning to Vantagepoint was smooth, and despite embarking on a significant overhaul of internal business processes to better align with the current state of the business, the project was delivered on time and under budget.

Analysys Mason’s upgrade to Vantagepoint ensured that it’s now the single source for any information that an employee requires (whether relating to a project or back-office functions). The system is massively simplified and de-customized, and business processes are streamlined. The responsible departments, including finance, project office, marketing and human resources, all feel a sense of empowerment through ownership of system configuration and workflows, resulting in faster speed-to-market. Native Vantagepoint reports have taken the place of complex reports, which had become outdated and difficult to maintain. The same goes for the numerous hardware and third-party software licenses that had previously been required to host on-premises. Moreover, as new versions of Vantagepoint are released, the upgrade process will be much simpler and more dynamic with Vantagepoint in the Deltek Cloud, reducing administrative overhead.

Vantagepoint has now been fully adopted across the entire business. Along the way, six complex, custom, in-house systems were removed and replaced by out-of-the-box functionality. There was a 70% reduction in the number of reports in use within the company, as Analysys Mason used the upgrade process as an opportunity to hone in on what information was needed to run the business more efficiently and effectively.
