Mike Scopa

As Deltek's Senior Vice President of Engineering, Mike Scopa leads the team that creates Deltek's software solutions. He is responsible for the company's worldwide product engineering team delivering both on-premise and SaaS solutions for project-focused companies. Mike has over 25 years of experience in the software industry, architecting and developing commercial products.

Before becoming SVP, Mike served as Deltek’s VP of Product Engineering for the products focused on the professional services industries, where he managed all aspects of product development, including coding, testing, documentation and deployment efforts. In this role, he was responsible for building and delivering these product offerings into new markets and new technologies, including SaaS deployment and delivery.

Prior to joining Deltek, he served as the Sr. Director of Software Development at Harper and Shuman where he led the team that built ERP software for large Architectural and Engineering companies.

Mike is active in the Software Development industry, is involved in the Agile development community, and is experienced in the most advanced and progressive development methodologies.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Boston College.
