Maconomy’s most recent release brings enhancements for finance professionals, project and resource managers and employees. We’ve made some small and some larger improvements across all three user interfaces (workspace client, iAccess and Touch, the mobile app). Available as of 18 December and highlighted in the December Maconomy Customer Town Hall.

Earlier this month Deltek released Maconomy 2.5.1 bringing enhancements for project managers, finance professionals, employees and system administrators/IT. While there’s a lot of great new functionality, here’s the top five highlights from the release.
Maconomy 2.5 unveiled many enhancements including a focus on improvements to iAccess, the web-browser interface. Maconomy 2.5 focused on bringing even more capabilities to front office workers like project managers, supervisors/managers, employees and account managers.
Maconomy 2.5 released in November 2019, brought even more enhancements to the powerful approval workflow engine. Maconomy’s extensive approval hierarchy framework provides a set of rules to determine who can approve expense sheets, purchase orders, vendor invoices and other entries. Maconomy’s approval hierarchy and access control are tightly interconnected to provide you the confidence and control you need to securely manage business operations. Super users or system administrators manage approvals in one central place - the Approval Setup Workspace.
The new Maconomy functionality introduces the concept of Data Import Packages. This enables a User, or group of Users working in collaboration, to specify which files to include in a package, the structure and content, and to transfer the numerous import components at once if they so wish.
Have you always wanted to chat with another user directly within Maconomy? Did you know you could now converse with other Maconomy users directly within the application? In our most recent release (2.4.5), Maconomy introduces all-new conversation functionality. This capability allows users from various departments to “chat” within the application regarding a specific record. Currently, this option is available for the Invoice Allocation workflow.
Our latest release, coming just in time for Deltek Insight and the UK Customer Day, provides many “behind the scenes” improvements to Maconomy. Maconomy’s upcoming release brings you more power, more visibility into your data and more connectivity with enhancements across all three of our interfaces – Workspace client, iAccess and Touch.
In this blog post, we'll focus on the new iAccess workspaces providing invoicing functionality for project managers. Invoicing workspaces includes: Draft Invoices, Invoices, WIP Invoice, Invoice on Account and Customer Invoicing.
