Deltek Announces the Finalists for Its 2018 MVP Awards

The MVP Awards to be presented at the annual user conference Deltek Insight 2018 in Dallas, Texas, on Monday, November 5

Herndon, VA – October 18, 2018 – Deltek, the leading global provider of software and solutions for project-based businesses, announced today the finalists for its annual customer awards program – the MVP Awards. Formerly known as the Project Excellence Awards program, the MVP Awards recognize and celebrate outstanding Deltek customer and partner achievements across all industries.

Since the awards program started, Deltek has recognized some of the most innovative and trailblazing companies in the world. The customer awards program, a key component of its annual user conference, Deltek Insight, highlights and honors the achievements among Deltek’s more than 23,000 customers worldwide.

“Deltek is proud to recognize the innovative, impactful work that our customers do each and every day,” said Perry Hardt, Deltek’s Chief Marketing Officer. “True innovation is about delivering value and this year’s finalists of the Most Valuable Projects Awards reflect just that.”

This year’s finalists for the MVP Awards are:

In the Government Contracting category – Odyssey Systems Consulting Group, Ltd., for using Deltek to take its company well beyond the next level and double revenue and triple their employee base; and Peraton, for its business transformation and organizational change management to implement Deltek’s suite of products and consolidation of five disparate systems into one holistic platform and fulfilling leadership’s goal of “leapfrogging” over the competition.

In the Architecture, Engineering & Construction category – BuroHappold, for implementing Deltek at its engineering consultancy operating locations around the world to drive efficiency and greatly reduce annual losses after just one year; Draper Aden Associates for combining their CRM, time and expense, and accounting systems into one Deltek system to save time, reduce paperwork and increase cash flow at its Mid-Altantic operations; and RPS Group for implementing Deltek and reaching 11 of the 14 key milestones that ultimately help the firm focus on and provide independent science- and engineering-based advice to its clients.

In the Marketing, Advertising and Digital Agencies category – Ogilvy APAC for utilizing Deltek to streamline processes and create project visibility, allowing them to focus on the creative and the big ideas to better serve clients; and TMP Worldwide for using Deltek to centralize resource allocation, eliminate paperwork, and standardize time entry for the entire company, while on its mission to revolutionize the way companies and candidates connect.

In the Management & IT Consulting category – ICF for using multiple Deltek solutions to reduce the amount of time it spends on administrative functions and increasing the amount of value-add time for winning and executing work; and WMC Global for replacing QuickBooks with Deltek as its complete solution — resource planning, CRM, finance and operations — and in turn increasing its efficiency and transparency so it can spend time analyzing data, not just gathering it.

In the Enterprise category – Cherokee Nation Businesses, for scaling its Deltek solution as a small business in 2012 and growing to over 28 companies with employees in 48 states and 17 countries; and International Medical Corps for utilizing Deltek to empower their company to support its vision for serving more people affected by conflict, natural disaster and disease, no matter where they are, no matter what the conditions.

In the Small Business category – Redhorse Corporation, for implementing Deltek and realizing across-the-board improvements in every KPI, including growing from 50 employees and $8 million in annual revenue to 380 employees and $85 million in revenue in just 6 years; and Thermal Engineering Corporation, a 19-employee operation in Hawaii that implemented Deltek as the foundation of its one-stop-shop accounting and finance approach and now has greater visibility into its data, allowing the firm to give cash incentives to employees.

In the Partner category – OGSystems with Deltek partner Lexell Blue, for working together to implement Deltek which can handle the increasing complexity of their business, while remaining efficient and compliant with the government; and TechRev with Deltek partner PCI, for working together to use the big power of Deltek solutions to track cost pools more accurately, minimize possible points of failure and get back time, giving them a leg up on the competition.

Winners in each category will be announced during General Session at Insight 2018, the premier industry event for project-focused professionals. The event will be held at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Dallas, Texas from November 5-8.
