65 Roses tournament to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) and the search for a cure
HERNDON, Va. – June 23, 2016 – Deltek, the leading global provider of enterprise software and information solutions for project-based businesses, recently joined Keeper Technologies as the presenting sponsors at the June 10th 65 Roses Golf Classic at The Golf Club at Lansdowne in Northern Virginia. Now in its 31st year, the “65 Roses” Golf Tournament, named from a child’s mispronunciation of cystic fibrosis, benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – the world leader in the search for a cure. Over 25 sponsors and 90 local executives golfed in the tournament, raising $84,000 benefitting the CFF.
The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatments, and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care.
“There has been remarkable progress in the journey to cure CF, but we continue to lose young lives to this disease every day. With support from companies like Deltek, we can continue searching for a cure for everyone living with this disease,” said Richie Peterson, Chairman of the 65 Roses Golf Tournament.
