C3 Systems Selects Deltek First as Its New ERP System

Leading government contractor converts from QuickBooks to Deltek First and gets up and running in 10 days

HERNDON, Va. – February 5, 2014 – Deltek, the leading global provider of enterprise software and information solutions for government contractors and professional services firms, recently announced that C3 Systems (C3) has selected Deltek First as its cloud ERP system. Deltek First delivers the DCAA compliance that C3 needs along with effective contract management, accurate payroll processing and automated accounting processes including invoicing and paid time off reconciliation – all in the cloud.

As a management consulting and IT firm, C3 supports Federal, State, and Local Government customers by providing management consulting, software and system engineering, and other IT services. The firm recognized it had significant challenges with its former time management and accounting systems that did not meet the needs of its growing business. Not only was C3 unable to integrate the two systems, but it also experienced significant issues getting a clear picture of the business as its company grew and had too many manual processes in place for effective control of its mission-critical data.
