Deltek unveiled Open Plan 3.5 to the marketplace through a live webinar presentation and product demonstration. During the webinar, attendees were able to see the new features of Open Plan 3.5 including its improved user experience, enhanced integration with Microsoft Project schedules, and added capabilities for project reporting and data formatting.

The newest version of Open Plan delivers the ability to:

Proactively identify data quality issues – With Open Plan 3.5, users are alerted to any issues with the quality of the project schedule data. By utilizing user-defined formatting and rules, activities that require attention are flagged and easily navigated to. Conditional formatting is now available in the Network View as well as in the existing Bar Charts and Spreadsheets. Eight new pre-defined views have also been included in this new release.
Work in an Integrated Planning Environment – Open Plan users can now import files, such as supplier or contractor data, from Microsoft Project to update existing Open Plan projects. Plus, users can now create baselines in Open Plan schedules and update progress in existing Microsoft Project schedules making it easier to work in an integrated environment.
Prepare Customized Reports and Updates – A new network view has been added to Open Plan 3.5 providing increased user control over formatting, styles, fonts and placements. The network view allows users to quickly generate key outputs customized for their company or client.
