Agency News Review: Calls for Creativity, Tactical Tips, and a Focus on the Future
Welcome to our new monthly review of top topics and trends in the creative agency industry. Each month we will take a look back at the previous month’s buzzworthy items. Here’s a look at what was big in March:
A Call for Creativity
With the current climate, many are left wondering what they can do to help. To that effect, the creative agency industry has focused on what it does best with several calls to focus on creativity. The first came in a blog from 4A’s President and CEO Marla Kaplowitz. Then the UN also called for creatives to help spread the public health message to “everyone, everywhere”. And with so many teams shifting to work from home, leaders have shared some tips for how to collaborate creatively while working remotely.
“ As brands focus to identify the right tone, there’s an opportunity for agencies to leverage their greatest strength: creativity. ”

Of course also top of mind are what tactics and best practices agencies should be putting in place now to weather the storm. Early in the month, this kicked off with a webinar from Adweek, focused on practical strategies to recession-proof your business. The team at Creative Performance Inc. also kicked off a video series addressing some tactical moves to address financial hurdles. Here at Deltek we pulled together this eGuide with 10 ways to increase agency efficiency and profitability.
