During the second quarterly town hall of 2021, Vision users can learn how to expedite the invoice approvals and expense report processes and about resources available within Deltek Learning Zone.

Streamline Invoice Approvals and Expense Reports

Deltek’s product management team detailed how to set up and use the AP invoice approval tool to streamline the creation and approval process electronically, supporting a paperless environment. Waymond Eng shared how to get the most out of Vision’s credit card feature to simplify and expedite the expense report process. He also discusses new features available when companies upgrade to Vantagepoint, highlighting Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) for mobile expenses, matching credit card expenses and more.

Continued Support for Deltek Vision

Dawn Gajewski reminded customers about Deltek’s continued commitment to supporting Vision users.  She shared that Vision 7.6 will remain in active support beyond the end of 2022; there is currently no end date for the active support phase for Vision 7.6. Each Vision customer is determining the best time for their upgrade to Vantagepoint and Deltek wants to support our users on their journey. Customer Care Update

Adam Emery, director of customer care, provided updates available on the Support Center, including the ability to access popular Knowledge Base Articles on the home screen without having to login. Additionally, the search tool allows users to find answers quickly through guides, knowledge base articles, release notes, online communities and more.

Deltek University Update

Senior Curriculum Manager Adrian Griffiths shared updates made to the Deltek Learning Zone (DLZ). New learning paths are available to encourage users to get the most out of Vision and Functional Reference Guides provide overviews and functionality assistance.
