Empower Project Managers with Maconomy iAccess - Part 2
In Part 1 of this blog series, we presented four of the iAccess project manager workspaces introduced in the newest release of Maconomy: Job Home, Budgeting, Progress Evaluation and Risk Management. In this blog post, we’ll focus on the new invoicing functionality for project managers. Invoicing workspaces include:
- Draft Invoices
- WIP Invoice
- Invoice on Account
- Customer Invoicing
As a reminder, the iAccess interface is all about enhancing the user experience in Maconomy. We took the functionality already available in the workspace client and redesigned it so information is at the users’ fingertips anytime, anywhere via any web browser.
Now, let’s take a quick look at each invoicing workspace.
When project managers need to quickly review and edit draft invoices, this workspace provides all draft invoices, organized by project or job. Easily search via the list view and save time with options to apply edits from one invoice or draft invoice to another.
When project managers need to quickly find an invoice, the Invoices workspace provides a full list of all job invoices and credit notes. Search, view details and credit an invoice all in one place.
WIP Invoice Workspace
With our new iAccess WIP Invoice workspace, project managers can instantly absorb what is available to bill. Find invoices, reallocate open entries and view invoice history all in one central, easy-to-navigate workspace. You also can invoice just part of an entry or you can change the invoice amount or quantity with information right at your fingertips.
Invoice on Account
In the most recent release, there is now a dedicated workspace supporting on account invoicing. This includes viewing and editing invoice plans, and accessing invoice history. Project managers can prepare on account invoices based on the invoice plan agreed with the customer or create an ad-hoc invoice on account.
Project managers can view and edit invoices and invoice history by customer. The system supports blanket invoicing of jobs in order to combine all non-invoiced but approved invoices into a single invoice.
*Important note – unlike the workspace client customer invoicing functionality, the Job Selection feature is not available currently in iAccess.
