In the State, Local and Education (SLED) Health and Human Services (HHS) market, solicitation activity decreased in December by 12% compared to November. This drop is likely due to the holidays and government offices closing in observation. However, solicitations for Information Technology and Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) remained steady to close out the year. States like Hawaii, New York and Virginia had high solicitation activity in December, while Indiana and New Mexico had low procurement activity. Looking forward to 2017, Deltek anticipates strong growth in the SLED HHS market and will continue to report on monthly statistics and notable trends in the year ahead.

Notable Solicitation Releases

  • The Kansas Department of Administration is seeking proposals for a contractor to operate the Kansas Payment Center, the State Disbursement Unit (SDU). The incumbent contract is set to expire in June of 2017. Proposals are due on February 7, 2017
