Deltek Pulse: General government services month in review, November 2016
November saw a 16 percent decrease in General Government solicitations from October. However, this decrease is to be expected towards the end of the year. Economic Development, followed by Community Development, led the vertical with the most solicitation releases. Just over 68 percent of solicitations released fell into the Professional Services requirement.
Notable Solicitation Releases
- The Texas Department of Information Resources issued a solicitation for CA-Branded and Lenovo-Branded Hardware Products and Related Services. The Department is looking to procure several CA and Lenovo-branded products and services. Proposals are due by December 22, 2016.
- The Rhode Island Department of Administration has a requirement for an Electronic Procurement Software Solution. The State is looking for a solution that will improve process efficiencies and eliminate redundant software applications currently in use. Proposals are due on December 22, 2016.
- The Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet has a requirement for Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction (DHBC) Licensing, Permitting, Inspection, Code Enforcement Software as a Service. The Permitting, Inspection, Code Enforcement Systems (PICES) will eliminate DHBC’s paper processing and provide services such as self-service permitting, inspection request, inspection tracking, reporting, and payments. Proposals are due by January 17, 2017.
