Deltek Pulse: Education month in review, September 2016
The month of September saw a 9 percent decrease in solicitations released compared to August. The Higher Education vertical is producing more solicitations than the Primary/Secondary Education vertical, with Higher Education responsible for 59 percent of total solicitations released. Professional Services was a primary requirement associated with 69 percent of the solicitations released in September, while Information Technology was a primary requirement associated with 31 percent of solicitations.
Notable Solicitation Releases
- The Philadelphia School District has a requirement for a School Library Automation System. The resulting contract is intended to support the district’s use of Digital Circulation Systems to manage school and library collections. Proposals are due on October 31, 2016.
- The Texas Education Agency issued a solicitation for a Career and Technical Education Statewide Leadership New Teacher Mentor Program. Proposals were due on September 29, 2016.
- The South Carolina Department of Education released a request for proposals for a School District Efficiency Review. Proposals are due on October 28, 2016.
