Deltek Pulse: Education month in review, July 2016
July saw a slight decrease in the number of solicitation releases compared to June, with 6 percent fewer total solicitations released. The higher education vertical produced slightly more solicitations than the primary/secondary education vertical, with higher education accounting for 57 percent of total solicitations. Professional services was a primary requirement associated with over 67 percent of the solicitations released in July, while information technology was a primary requirement associated with 33 percent.
Notable RFP releases:
- The Delaware Department of Education has a requirement for a Delaware System of Student Assessment in Social Studies. Proposals are due September 9, 2016.
- The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has a requirement for Assessment Support Services. Proposals were due on August 1, 2016.
- The Virginia Department of Education released a solicitation for a Statewide Individualized Education Program and Special Education Management System (IEP). Proposals are due on August 19, 2016.
