Deltek’s GovWin IQ State and Local Research team is offering an inside look into its expanding solutions with a free transparency report analyzing each quarter’s procurement activity compared to the year prior. The inaugural report, State and Local Quarterly Opportunity Analysis, Q1 2014 vs. Q1 2015, was published last week.

GovWin IQ’s State and Local solutions contains a wealth of solicitations released by every government sector throughout the United States. These bid notifications are posted daily and contain key project details including:

  • Government entity
  • Project title
  • Proposals due date
  • Solicitation document
  • Solicitation number
  • Government contact
  • Vertical market
  • Primary requirement

The data in the free report offers nationwide state and local government procurement numbers to identify solicitation trends by state, vertical market, primary requirement, and government type for Q1 2015, in addition to comparing Q1 2014 statistics with year-to-year visualizations.

State and local bids surged 15.7 percent in Q1 2015 vs. Q1 2014, largely due to expanded coverage for the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) market. Additional findings in the report include which states saw the biggest boosts in solicitations, which vertical markets released the most solicitations, and which offerings are most sought by state and local governments.

You can access the free report here, and be on the lookout for future quarterly analysis as well as a year-end report identifying annual bid trends across the state and local market.
