Deltek Pulse: General government services month in review, May 2015
The number of general government solicitations released in May was comparable to April, with just a slight 0.7 percent decrease. Nearly 70 percent of the solicitations released in May had the primary requirement of professional services. The education vertical accounted for 63 percent of the solicitations, while public finance and community development saw the fewest solicitations released, with only 4 percent of the month’s total. As the second quarter comes to a close, June is expected to produce similar results.
Notable RFP releases
- The Florida Citizens Property Insurance Corporation has a requirement for enterprise resource planning software. Proposals are due by June 22.
- The Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs has a requirement for a building energy intelligence system. Proposals are due by July 31.
- The Virginia Information Technologies Agency has a requirement for IBM software and services. Proposals are due by June 18.
