Protection Group International (PGI) help their clients manage digital risk. With a wide portfolio of services, including digital security, capacity building and digital investigations, PGI is committed to helping their clients build strong digital resilience.

Having evolved from a group of dispersed subsidiaries, PGI has been operating on siloed systems, manual processes, and relying heavily on Excel. Each project currently needs to be handled individually to accommodate these challenges.

With plans to scale their business, PGI needs a single, centralized platform to ensure all projects are delivered with consistent reporting, efficient document management and accurate scheduling.

Initially, PGI was looking for a solution that would enable effective resource planning and time recording, while continuing to leverage their existing CRM and finance systems. Through discovery sessions with Deltek, PGI soon realized the value of having one single system to cover the full project lifecycle—from opportunity, through to billing and reporting.

“Having previously relied on manual processes, we’re anticipating significant improvements in margins, resource utilization and planning, accuracy of time recording, consistency in project management and speed of month-end close,” Lisa Cranston, CFO at PGI, explains.

“Initially, we will maintain our existing CRM system (feeding into Deltek Vantagepoint), with the intent of rolling out Deltek Vantagepoint’s CRM module over the next year. We expect that it will facilitate further efficiencies and cost savings,” Lisa adds.
