wInsight Connect

wInsight Connect products allow organizations to improve execution of projects by providing a proactive information system to engage technical, financial and senior management. They instantly add earned value capability to your third-party applications like Microsoft^® Project and Excel, Artemis^® Views and Deltek's MPM allowing them to easily communicate with Deltek wInsight. The wizard-based applications streamline and simplify data transfer from your project tools into wInsight or other ANSI X12 839-compliant electronic data interchange (EDI) enabled applications.

wInsight Connect products automatically transfer the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), the Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS) and related structure data, such as the WBS element name, number, Control Account Manager (CAM) name, earned-value type, etc., into wInsight. Period-based data such as Budgeted Cost for Work Scheduled (BCWS), Budgeted Cost for Work Performed (BCWP), Actual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP), Budget at Completion (BAC), Estimate at Completion (EAC), and time phased Budget/Estimate To Complete (ETC) is also transferred. Once transferred to Deltek wInsight, the data can be analyzed in dollars, hours or equivalent heads. wInsight Connect products offer enhanced tool sets, templates and batch processing functionality.
